Prime Minister’s George A. Papandreou message to the President of the United States of America Barack Obama for the victims of the disastrous tornadoes:
It is with great sorrow that I was informed of the disastrous tornadoes that ravaged the southeastern United States, taking the lives of a great number of people and leaving many more injured and homeless.
On behalf of the Greek Government and the Greek people, I would like to express my sincere condolences to the families of the victims and those injured. Please convey to them our sympathy in this time of affliction.
