Our Government

On October 4, PASOK won the Greek elections with a 10.4% margin. This gives PASOK a clear majority in Parliament, with 160 out of a total 300 seats, and a strengthened mandate to pursue the reform agenda on which the party campaigned.

George A. Papandreou was sworn in as Greece’s new Prime Minister on October 6 2009.

Government reformation took place on September 7, 2010, the same day the new Government was sworn.

The current governmental scheme was announced and sworn in on June 17, 2011.
